About Argos Farm Equestrian Center

Argos Farm is conveniently located one mile west of the Garden State Parkway Exit 74 in Forked River, NJ.  It is a 97 acre farm that is family run.  The establishment is now in its second generation.  George and Aphrodite Mackres named Argos after their hometown in Greece back in 1986. The farm was Mackres' getaway from the hustle and bustle of his entrepreneuring.  Fruit trees and a few farm animals kept the farm alive.

In May 2006, Spyro and Angela, along with their parents, erected a 100X120 Indoor Riding Arena along with 20 stalls, an Indoor Viewing Room, Classroom, and an Office.  The services that are now offered are Boarding, Lessons, Trail Rides, Pony Parties, Scout and Summer Programs.  During their Halloween Season Argos Farm caters to Family Fun in the Fall! There's an aMAZEing Maze, Hay Rides, Pumpkin Picking, Cow Train Rides, Pig Racing, Gourd Launcher, Hay Mountain, Corn Crib, Sand Hill, and visiting the Farm Animals. It is a great time of the year for families to reconnect. At Argos they are Harvesting Memories throughout the year!! Spyro and Angela Martin's goals are to provide a clean, educational facility for all to enjoy.  Growing up with strong family values, it is their mission to incorporate that with the wholesome farm life experience.
